reUNITEme Application/Software Privacy Policy
This policy explains how reUNITEme handles data within its user-input-driven platform.
User-Input Data Model:
reUNITEme does not actively collect data from devices. All personal and medical data within the system is voluntarily entered by users or authorized personnel.
Data Types:
- Personal identification data
- Medical/emergency-related data (PHI where applicable)
- Geolocation (if provided)
Legal Basis:
- User consent
- Vital interests (emergency situations)
- Legitimate interests
HIPAA Safeguards:
Where applicable, reUNITEme implements safeguards aligned with HIPAA Security Rule.
Data Sharing:
Data is only accessible to authorized users and necessary service providers bound by legal agreements (including BAAs).
International Transfers:
Data may be processed globally using safeguards such as SCCs. The application is not intended for use in China.
User Rights:
Users may access, correct, delete, restrict, or transfer their data and withdraw consent.
Retention:
Data is retained only as long as necessary.
Breach Notification:
Users will be notified in accordance with GDPR and HIPAA requirements.
Children’s Data:
Guardian consent is required where applicable.
Prohibited Use:
The application is not intended and must not be used for surveillance or criminal investigative purposes, including gathering or capturing criminal activity.

If you think someone has learned your password, you should promptly go to the reUNITEme website or mobile application and change it. ReUNITEme may change your user ID and/or password at any time to prevent unauthorized disclosures.
Collection and use of browser information and cookies:
Our website uses a third party service, Google Analytics, to collect, monitor and analyze information your browser sends whenever you visit pages on our site in order to improve the reUNITEme website and enhance your user experience. Google Analytics places a cookie on your device to accomplish this. This data may include browser type, your computer’s Internet Protocol (“IP”) address, the pages of our site that you visit, when you visit, the page you visited right before accessing our site, time spent on reUNITEme pages, and other statistics. Google Analytics does not collect any personal identifiers such as name or address. From time to time, we may use non-personally-identifying information collected to report, in aggregate, trends and usage of the site.

These ads may be based on the specific pages of the reUNITEme website you visit or whether or not you completed a particular task on our site, for example, submitting a contact form.
Third-party vendors, including Google AdWords and Facebook, use cookies placed on your device to serve relevant and useful ads to you on other websites. These cookies do not in any way identify you or give access to your mobile device or computer.
