Our History
In 2019, Danielle Marten and Tami Wood came together with a shared vision: to create a collaborative, responsive healthcare network capable of navigating some of the most chaotic and life-threatening situations. This vision led to the founding of Healthcare Coalition Partners of Kansas (HCCP of KS), an organization dedicated to enhancing the coordination of medical services during disasters and critical events.
With a deep understanding of the complexities involved in emergency response, Danielle and Tami realized that in times of crisis — whether it’s a tornado, fire, active shooter, explosion, plane crash or hurricane — swift, effective and well-coordinated action could make all the difference in saving lives. HCCP of KS was born out of their commitment to ensuring that communities in Kansas and across the world are not only prepared but also able to respond with precision and efficiency when every second counts.
What We Do
We specialize in coordinating medical services during chaotic, high-stress events. Our primary focus is working closely with hospitals, EMS teams, emergency managers and public health departments to ensure that they are ready for whatever may come their way. This includes pre-planning response strategies, developing situational awareness and providing the necessary resources to seamlessly integrate healthcare efforts during an emergency.
Through careful preparation and proactive coordination, we enable emergency responders to work in unison, making sure hospitals, emergency medical services and public health systems can deliver optimal care under the most trying circumstances. From large-scale natural disasters to mass casualty events, we ensure that every team is equipped with the tools and knowledge they need to act swiftly and effectively.
Danielle and Tami’s combined experience in healthcare, emergency management and public safety has given them the insight necessary to build a resilient, responsive network that prioritizes community safety and well-being. After identifying the lack of a unified system for patient reunification, they developed an innovative solution in reUNITEme.
About Us
When disaster strikes, individuals are often separated from their loved ones, and the medical system has no streamlined way to reunite patients with their emergency contacts. This chaotic situation leaves families in the dark and can delay life-saving decisions. reUNITEme founders Danielle Marten and Tami Wood designed this revolutionary mobile application to fill the gap left by lack of a unified system for patient reunification in emergency situations. Current methods of identification include writing names, contacts, and Social Security numbers on loved ones' arms with permanent marker; identification cards that must be physically available; locally available community or jurisdictional lost child registration systems; or "ICE" contacts in individuals' cellphones that require a password to access. A better solution is clearly needed.
With reUNITEme, when a person is unable to speak for themselves or is separated from their emergency contact, first responders or healthcare professionals can access this vital information either by scanning the person’s face or directly asking for their details. The reUNITEme application then enables the responder to connect with emergency contacts instantly through the application, facilitating quick, safe and reliable reunification.
This technology is the first of its kind, providing a multi-jurisdictional and worldwide solution to linking patients with their loved ones in real time, anywhere around the globe.
